8 Bridges Workshop + Culture

We are able to augment our clients' capacity and might step in to troubleshoot challenges or shore up special projects.
8 Bridges conducted an organizational assessment, which included interviews of local stakeholders, local and national field scans, program inventories, SCOPE analysis, audience mapping, and strategy screens. Resulting reports identified service gaps and opportunities, leading to the creation of a rubric for future evaluation, planning, and goal setting.
8 Bridges Workshop collaborated with 59 Productions, a London- and NYC-based creative production company, to explore the options and potential for creating a mobile stage for the orchestra’s community performances.
8 Bridges is helping to plan and launch Springboard’s first-ever capital campaign to create SpringBOX, a dynamic new campus located at 262 University Avenue West in Saint Paul. Reinventing the site of a former used car dealership, SpringBOX will provide a front yard for the neighborhood while supporting Springboard’s economic and community development mission that empowers and connects artists and communities.
We are assisting OPERA America with the development and delivery of a new grantmaking program, supported with a generous multi-year grant from the Ann and Gordon Getty Foundation. OPERA America’s Innovation Grants support Professional Company Members in implementing innovative projects in opera’s most important areas of practice, including artistic vitality, audience experience, organizational effectiveness and community connections.
We worked with Walker leadership and the Board's Digital Initiatives Task Force to consider structures for digital media within the senior leadership team, and to explore innovation in the Walker's online editorial directions.
We worked with Schubert Club's board, staff, and planning task force to develop and complete a five-year strategic plan for this concert presentation and music education organization.
We completed multiple projects with Arts Midwest’s ArtsLab program, beginning with a set of case studies documenting the program’s impact over time. We also helped design and deliver an ArtsLab program sequence for a cohort of regional orchestras and participated in ArtsLab’s regional cities’ cohort as a social media workshop presenter.
